About Juan
I help leaders make sense of complex businesses.
I’m Juan Bermudez, founder of BM Mentors Global. For more than 14 years, I’ve worked across strategy, operations, financial modeling, organizational transformation, and quality systems—helping leaders understand what is really happening inside their organizations and turn that understanding into better decisions.
My experience spans more than 30 organizations across industries including media, technology, energy, logistics, professional services, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and other regulated environments. That range matters: business problems rarely belong neatly to one function. What appears to be a people problem may actually be a process problem. What looks like a growth problem may be a margin problem. And what appears operational may ultimately require a strategic decision.
I’ve built financial and investment models for portfolios exceeding $600 M, advised organizations through periods of rapid growth and transformation, and led multidisciplinary teams whose work supported significant revenue growth and stronger operating structures. Earlier in my career, I also led the launch of a major digital sports platform that surpassed its financial targets within months.
I also bring direct leadership experience from highly regulated environments. As Director of Strategy & Quality Assurance for an FDA-regulated biologics organization. My work contributed to zero-finding ISO 9001 audits, meaningful reduction in customer quality observations and nonconformances, and successful laboratory accreditation.
That combination—strategy, financial rigor, operating systems, organizational behavior, and regulated-industry discipline—is the lens I bring to BM Mentors.
I don’t believe leaders need more frameworks for the sake of frameworks. They need to understand the problem, its causes, its economic consequences, and the choices available to them.
That is where I do my best work: creating clarity before action.
